Hi all! 👋
Thanks to all of you who read this week in week out - and enjoy it.
I’ll be honest, there have been one or two brief moments of wondering if it’s worth continuing The Mulligan. However, having had a few of you provide positive feedback certainly does go appreciated and will continue to try pick out the best topics to spark thought and contentiousness each week.
Anyway moving on - we had another winning bet in our Best Bets for last week with an Each Way Patrick Cantlay win at 25/1. Sean Crocker also racking up a 10/1 place in Switzerland. That makes it two EW winners in the last 3 weeks…long may that continue!
If you’re enjoying The Mulligan, please do us a favour and share with one mate (or ten!) that haven’t read it and spread the word.

No More DeChambeau Issues Please!
I think we’ve all reached that point now - enough is enough.
Calling Bryson ‘Brooksy’ will now get you removed from a PGA Tour event going forward…I mean are you kidding me?? Things have gotten out of hand!
It all seemed to start when Bryson went into Hulk mode back in 2019. He was on a mission to bulk up and bomb it a country mile.
Then the video of Brooks getting visibly irritated with Bryson at Kiawah Island which seemed to trigger the media attention which he now receives whether he likes it or not. From not shouting ‘fore’ a number of times to repeated Bryson-Brooks feuds - it seems to never end. Never mind the chirp to Patrick Cantlay not to walk while he’s playing at last week’s BMW Championship.
As Kevin Van Valkenburg puts it ‘a never ending circus’! Well he’s definitely not far off…
What we’re all wondering though is just how this will pan out in the Ryder Cup and if the team will gel together (somehow!)? We already know of the tension between Bryson and Brooks.
Then DJ & Brooks don’t like each other. Patrick Reed isn’t mad about anyone and vice-versa.
Sure - there’s a character or two in most sports that spark the constant attention, but not all of it is always negative. With Bryson though it seems to be and even the crowd seems to bring out the worst in Bryson though chirping him “Brooksy” and the like. He’s come close to blowing a gasket and that may still be on the horizon.
As one person on Twitter mentioned on Monday, if Payne Stewart was still around he undoubtedly would have taken Bryson under his wing and slowly made amends.
For now though, it seems Bryson is on his own. Perhaps in more ways than one.
